Debbie Power

Debbie is an established senior health service manager with wide-ranging primary care commissioning and contracting experience, as well as experience working with the local community as a GP practice manager.

She has worked with a range of provider and commissioner healthcare organisations on initiatives focussing on improving population health and is a member of the Institute of Health & Social Care Management.

Debbie is the co-founder of Better Living Partners (BLP). BLP is a community service initiative which aims to help individuals and communities thrive. BLP wants to see people enjoying better health and living happier lives.

Career Highlights

Debbie worked with Ade on the successful delivery of the Health Quality Service Accreditation Scheme award for Ravensbourne NHS Trust. Working with NHS England, Debbie lead on the development and implementation of a high-quality minor surgery service within GP practices across London. She worked with Bromley local commissioners to design and implement a risk stratification tool aimed at reducing the number of unplanned admissions to hospital.

Debbie recently qualified as an Aromatherapist with Neal’s Yard Therapies, and enjoys a special interest in women’s health, mental health and sports therapy, which further compliments her work with BLP supporting health and wellbeing.

‘’I am passionate about healthy lifestyles while recognising the barriers to good health experienced by many people and communities. BLP’s ethos is supporting people to make choices that can lead to an improved quality of life.

I have a close interest in natural remedies and regularly use essential oils at home and enjoy my practice in therapeutic massage and aromatherapy.

I love my garden and supporting local wildlife and am an avid supporter of the RSPB’’.
